HOW DO I MAKE APPLE TART?

This is the easiest tart recipe ever and there are just 3 simple steps to make it.

STEP 1: PREHEAT THE OVEN, MAKE THE CRUST

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix crushed graham crackers and butter together in a large bowl until well combined. Press graham cracker mixture into a tart pan.

crumbled graham crackers in a tart pan.

STEP 2: PREPARE THE APPLES AND ADD THEM TO CRUST

Cut the apples thinly and arrange them in the tart pan. I suggest standing them up and just alternating the direction they are facing.

Pour caramel sauce over the top of the apples. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and place on a wire baking rack to cool. Serve and enjoy!

HOW DO YOU SERVE APPLE TART?

Eating the apple tart hot is my favorite way to enjoy it. We love to add a little bit of ice cream on top. Then it will melt a little bit, and it's OH SO GOOD! You can also serve it with some whipped topping or eat it plain. While I prefer it warm, you can also let it cool and eat it cold.

WHAT ARE THE BEST APPLES TO USE?

You can really use most varieties of apples for this tart recipe. Using Granny Smith Apples is a tasty way to add just enough tartness to compliment the caramel's sweetness. Some other great options are Golden Delicious Apples, Pink Lady, Honeycrisp, and Jonagold. Keep in mind that each variety of apple is going to provide you with different flavors. Some are sweeter, and some are more tart. Go with an apple that you enjoy, and you can't go wrong.

CAN YOU MAKE MINI APPLE TARTS WITH THIS RECIPE?

Oh absolutely! You can easily transform this recipe into mini apple tarts. I recommend using muffin tins or ramekins. You will need to divide the crust among the baking pan or ramekins. This is a wonderful option and dessert for the holidays. Making mini desserts is a great way to give everyone individual servings. Kids especially go wild for mini tarts.

HOW DO I STORE TART?

When you make this apple tart, it's a good idea to keep in mind that it's best when you eat it within a day or two. However, you can save leftovers for later if you want. I recommend placing the tart in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for 2-3 days.
