Step Two: Coat the Pork Chops

Reserve half the sauce mixture for use after the pork chops are cooked, then toss the pork chops in the remaining sauce. Continue tossing each pork shop in the sauce until they are all fully coated.

Step Three: Air Fry the Pork Chops

Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees, then coat the bottom of the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Place the pork chops in the bottom of the basket, making sure not to over crowd it. Cook the pork chops for 13 to 15 minutes, depending on how thick your pork chops are. Halfway through the cook time, flip the pork chops for even cooking.

Air Fryer Pork Chop Tips & Tricks

This recipe is so simple to make because using an air fryer is a quick and easy way to cook your meat. And with the help of these quick tips and tricks, you’ll be able to prepare delicious pork chops in your air fryer with no problem at all.

  • Cook your pork chops in batches. To ensure your pork chops are evenly cooked, it’s best to cook your meat in batches to avoid overcrowding your air fryer basket. Place the pork chops in the basket, arranging them so that they aren’t touching. Most baskets are able to hold two to three pork chops, depending on the size of the air fryer and the size of the pork chops. Store the remaining pork chops in the refrigerator until you’re ready to cook the next batch.
  • Your cook time may need to be adjusted. This recipe for boneless pork chops was prepared in a Cosori 5.8 quart air fryer. If your air fryer is a different brand or size, you may need to adjust the cook time to ensure your pork chops are fully cooked. Use a meat thermometer to monitor the doneness of your pork as it cooks to ensure your pork chops aren’t undercooked.
  • Keep leftovers refrigerated. If you have leftover pork chops after dinner is over, make sure to keep them refrigerated. Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and they’ll stay fresh for up to four days.

What Temperature Should You Cook Boneless Pork Chops to?

Since air fryer cook times can vary, it can be difficult to know exactly how long to cook your pork chops in the air fryer. If you don’t cook them long enough, they won’t be safe to eat. However, if you cook them too long, they’ll be overcooked and tough.

One of the best ways to determine if your pork is finished cooking is testing the internal temperature. Using a meat thermometer, you can easily see if your pork is finished cooking. When inserted into the center of your pork chop, the thermometer should read at least 145 degrees. If the temperature at the center of the chop is less than that, your pork chops need to be cooked longer.
