Healthy Homemade Frozen Desserts and Treats

Beat the heat with these healthy homemade frozen desserts and treats, perfect for summertime!

This past weekend was a scorcher in Maine! It rarely gets in the 90's here, but we experienced record high temps both days. I even did my ride and run inside on Saturday because the heat was so unbearable. All of this warm weather has inspired me to make some cool desserts to tame down the heat. In fact, last week I whipped up a batch of my Homemade Meyer Lemon and Basil Gelato one day. It's a decadent treat made with heavy cream and the entire family loves it!
