How do I make the Creamy Orange Pineapple Popsicles?
There are just 2 simple steps to making these delicious frozen treats!
Step 1: Blend the Ingredients
Add the orange juice, pineapple juice, vanilla, sugar, and heavy cream to a blender. Then, blend on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 minutes, until the ingredients are well blended and thickened up. The mixture should be slightly runny, not too thick.
Once the ingredients are blended and start to thicken, pour equal amounts into popsicle mold and freeze for at least 6 hours.
Step 2: Remove from Mold and Serve!
After the popsicles have set, gently remove them from the mold, serve and enjoy!
*Pro Tip: Pour hot water over the OUTSIDE of the mold to make it easier to remove the popsicles.
Can I add fresh fruit to the Creamy Orange Pineapple Popsicles?
Yes, absolutely! Small pieces of orange and pineapple can easily be added to the mixture, just make sure to blend it in with the cream mixture before pouring it into the mold.
A few other variations:
*Looking to cut back on the calories? Use whole instead of heavy cream, the mixture will not be as thick when poured into the molds, but it will still make a great popsicle!
*The sugar can be increased or decreased depending on preference!
