How do I make the Fresh Strawberry Margarita?

This homemade Strawberry Margarita recipe takes 5 minutes or less to make! All you need to do is add a cup of ice to a blender and crush it up. Then, measure out the Tequila and Triple Sec and add it to the crushed ice. Add in the strawberries, lime juice and honey. Blend everything together until well combined and ice is a smooth consistency.

Pour it into your favorite glass and enjoy! That is it, a fresh frozen adult beverage in a matter of minutes.

Can I add a salt or sugar rim to the glass?

Yes, dress it up with what you love! I love salt on my glass rim, but sugar can be used as well. All you need to do is spread out either salt or sugar onto a rimmed plate. Rub the edge of your glass with a wedge of lime or half a strawberry, then dip it into the salt or sugar. Place the glass in the refrigerator or freezer to chill for a few minutes while you prepare the drink.

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1.5 oz Tequila
  • 1.5 oz Triple Sec or orange liquor
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp honey more or less can be used depending on preference for sweetness.
  • *optional sugar or salt for rim

Instructions

  • Place ice in the blender first and crush.
  • Add all of the remaining ingredients: Tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, strawberries and honey.
  • Blend until well combined and ice is smooth consistency.
  • Pour into glass of choice and serve.

Notes

* To rim glass use a strawberry or lime and run the juice along edge of glass. Dip into sugar or salt.
