What do I need to Make Christmas Tree Ice Cubes?
The most important thing you will need is the Silcone Tree Ice Cube Tray. It is inexpensive and easy to use. I ordered mine from Amazon. The next thing you will need is the green fluid to make the ice cubes. For these ice cubes I used a drink mix my kid’s enjoy: Jolly Rancher Green Apple. However, you could use anything that is green or even just add a drop of green food coloring to seltzer water!
How to Make the festive Ice Cubes
There is not much to it! Mix up your favorite green liquid and add it to the silicone tray and freeze overnight! When you are ready to use them, pop a few out and add them to your drink.
How else can I use the silicone mold?
If you want an extra cool treat you can sub the drink crystals for lime jello and make freezer jello! These take longer to melt and are really cool!
