There's nothing more special than a cozy night at home celebrating the holidays. When you want to upgrade a traditional Christmas night in, grab the little ones and watch in delight as you all make these Christmas tree ice cubes. This festive recipe (you could call it an experiment with little ones!) is just two ingredients and a special silicone tray. Get ready to freeze!

What do I need to Make Christmas Tree Ice Cubes?
The most important thing you will need is the Silcone Tree Ice Cube Tray. It is inexpensive and easy to use. I ordered mine from Amazon. The next thing you will need is the green fluid to make the ice cubes. For these ice cubes I used a drink mix my kid's enjoy: Jolly Rancher Green Apple. However, you could use anything that is green or even just add a drop of green food coloring to seltzer water!
How to Make the festive Ice Cubes
There is not much to it! Mix up your favorite green liquid and add it to the silicone tray and freeze overnight! When you are ready to use them, pop a few out and add them to your drink.

How else can I use the silicone mold?

- Silicon Tree Icee Cube Mold
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Green drink crystals
- 1 Christmas Tree silicone tray
Instructions
- Mix water and drink crystals until dissolved.
- Pour into the mold and place in freezer overnight.
- When you are ready to use, pop one out and add to water or to your favorite drink.
