Air Fryer Ribeye Steak with Herbed Butter
Ingredients
- 2 fresh sage leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 oz salted butter softened
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2-8 ounce ribeye steaks ½ inch thick
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or any high heat oil like olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- ½ tablespoon dried Italian herbs
Instructions
Prepare the herbed butter:
- Finely chop the sage leaves and fresh thyme leaves. Then, mince up the fresh garlic.
- In a small mixing bowl, add the softened salted butter, freshly minced garlic, chopped sage and chopped thyme. Mix together until well combined.
- Place the herbed butter into a plastic wrap and roll into a log. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to chill.
Prepare the ribeye steaks:
- Place the steaks on a large plate and drizzle on the avocado oil. Then, sprinkle the steaks with black pepper, salt and Italian herbs making sure they are well coated.
- Place the steak in the Air Fryer and cook for 7 to 8 minutes on 400 degrees Fahrenheit or until internal temperature reaches desired degree of doneness. , Make sure to turn steaks over with tongs after 4 minutes of cooking time.
- Transfer the steaks to a serving plate. Divide the herbed butter in half and place one half on each steak. Allow to rest for a few minutes, so butter and marinade can infuse steak. Then, serve and enjoy!
