What do I need to make Air Fryer Chicken Thighs with Honey Glaze?

  • 2 lbs of chicken thighs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup of flour
  • 2/3 cup of cornstarch 
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika 
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of onion powder 
  • 1 cup of panko crumbs 
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of water

How do I make Honey Glazed Chicken Thighs in the Air Fryer? 

Step 1: Prepare coating

In a shallow dish, combine the flour, cornstarch and spices. In another shallow dish, whisk the eggs together. In a third shallow dish, add the panko.

Step 2: Bread the chicken

Coat the chicken thighs in flour mixture, then wash with the egg, and finally, coat with the panko crumbs.

Step 3: Cook the chicken thighs

Prepare the air fryer basket by spraying it with olive oil or another high heat cooking oil.
Lightly spray chicken thighs with olive oil and add to the basket. Cook at 350 degrees for 16 to 18 minutes or until internal temp is 165° Fahrenheit. For best results, turn chicken over halfway through cooking time.

Step 4: Prepare the honey glaze

While chicken is cooking, prepare the glaze. Add water and honey to a small saucepan and place on cooktop over medium heat.
Bring to a rolling boil, then remove from heat. Set aside to let cool. The glaze will thicken as it cools. Once chicken is done, brush the glaze on your chicken, serve and enjoy!
