How do I make Meatballs in the Air Fryer?

These meatballs are very simple to make in just a few steps. Here is what you will need to do to make these delicious meatballs.

Step 1: Combine the ingredients

In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs and milk. Mix together and let sit for 5 minutes to soften the crumbs. Add the ground beef, ground pork sausage, egg, parmigiano reggiano cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic to the bowl with the bread crumbs and milk. Mix the ingredients together with your hands making sure they are well combined.

Step 2: Form the meatballs

Form 24 equal size meatballs by rolling them with your hands so they are round.

Step 3: Cook the meatballs in the air fryer

Place the meatballs in the air fryer so there is space between them. Cook in batches if necessary, as it is important to not overcrowd them. Set the air fryer temperature to 380° Fahrenheit. Cook for 9 to 12 minutes. They are finished when the internal temperature is 165°F. Remove from air fryer, serve and enjoy.

  • Wear gloves: It can be helpful to use gloves or oil your hands a little before forming meatballs to prevent them from sticking to your hands.
  • Storing the meatballs: You can refrigerate meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze the meatballs: They can be prepared ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 months. When ready to eat them, they can be placed back in the air fryer and cooked at 380 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until heated through.

Where are the onions?

No onions in this recipe, just garlic, but you could certainly dice up some onion and add it!
