How to make Air Fryer Meatballs

Homemade meatballs can be time consuming and messy to make, but they don't have to be! With the use of your air fryer, you can make delicious and crispy meatballs in no time at all. This recipe for Air Fryer Meatballs is very simple to prepare. A combination of ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, parmigiano reggiano cheese and seasoning come together to create a classic Italian meatball that pairs perfectly with spaghetti. They also make a fabulous appetizer to serve up at your next party!

  • In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs and milk. Mix together and let sit for 5 minutes to soften the crumbs.
  • Add the ground beef, ground pork sausage, egg, parmigiano reggiano cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic to the bowl with the bread crumbs and milk.
  • Mix the ingredients together with your hands making sure they are well combined.
  • Form 24 equal size meatballs. Roll them with your hands so they are round.
  • Place meatballs in the air fryer so there is space between them. Cook in batches if necessary, as it is important to not overcrowd them.
  • Set air fryer temperature to 380° Fahrenheit. Cook for 9 to 12 minutes. They are finished when the internal temperature is 165°F.
  • Remove from air fryer, serve and enjoy.
