Tropical Protein Smoothie Bowl
Happy Sunday! I hope you have had a nice weekend. My kids were on school vacation this past week, so we have been enjoying the down time by sleeping in and staying in our pajamas much later than usual. However, we will be back to our busy schedule tomorrow! I am prepping for the week by planning our meals around all of our activities. Breakfast is often tricky when time is limited. A few weeks ago, I shared a post that highlighted recipes that were great to prepare ahead for the most important meal of the day! You can check it out <HERE>.
Smoothie Bowls
Now that the weather is warmer, another great way to enjoy breakfast is by making smoothie bowls for the entire family! They are quick and easy to make and my kids love them because they can add their own toppings. So what is a Smoothie Bowl? Basically, it's a way to enjoy your favorite smoothie by making it thicker (adding more fruit or veggies) and eating it with a spoon like cereal! This past Friday, we made Tropical Protein Smoothie Bowls, which were a delicious treat! This recipe makes four 12 ounce Smoothie Bowls or Smoothies. It can also be made the night before and popped back in the blender in the morning before serving.
