I have to admit that I was a bit late jumping on the Smoothie Bowl band wagon. However, in an effort to really clean up my diet, I have developed a real love for them! What is so great about a smoothie bowl? They are easy to put together and can be packed with nutrients, which can serve as a healthy breakfast, snack, or dessert. They can be eaten right out of the bowl or put in the blender for a meal on the run. This week I did a little experimenting with my favorite brand of yogurt: Noosa. I love sweet & spicy combinations, so I took their Blueberry Serrano flavored yogurt and created a delicious Sweet & Spicy Triple Berry Smoothie Bowl for lunch.
- Smoothie Bowl:
- 8 oz. container of Blueberry Serrano Noosa Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup of Baby Spinach
- 1/2 Cup of Coconut Milk
- 1/4 Cup of Blackberries
- 1/4 Cup of Blueberries
- 1/4 Cup of Strawberries
- 1 Tbsp Blueberries
- 1 Tbsp Blackberries
- 1 Tbsp sliced Strawberries
- 1 Tbsp shredded Coconut
- Place yogurt, spinach, coconut milk, and berries in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into bowl and put on toppings.
