How Do I Make Pumpkin Pie Bites?
With the help of biscuit dough, you can put together a delicious dessert that tastes just like pumpkin pie without all the work of making crust from scratch. That means you can make your own pumpkin dessert for Thanksgiving with just a few minutes of prep work in the kitchen. To make these easy fall treats, just follow these five steps:
Step One: Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, stir together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined. After that, set the bowl aside.
Step Two: Prepare the Dough
Open the can of biscuits and separate each biscuit. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough until it's around ¼ inch thick. Continue rolling the dough until each of the biscuits has been flattened.
Step Three: Fill the Dough
Once all your biscuits are rolled out, add one heaping tablespoon of pie filling to the center of each dough circle. Fold up all the edges around the top of the filling, completely covering the pie filling with crust.

Step Four: Air Fry the Pumpkin Pie Bombs
Line the basket of your air fryer with parchment paper and place each pumpkin pie bomb inside the basket. Leave some space between each biscuit to allow for expansion as the mini pumpkin pies cook. Cook the pies at 375 degrees for eight minutes, until the tops are golden brown and firm. Then, flip each bomb and return the basket to the air fryer to cook for an additional five minutes.

Step Five: Add the Topping
When the pumpkin pie bombs are finished cooking, remove them from the basket and allow them to rest for around 20 minutes. When you're ready to serve your mini pies, brush the top of each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Is Pumpkin Puree and Pumpkin Pie Filling the Same?
When preparing your own pumpkin pie bites, you may be wondering whether you should purchase canned pumpkin or pumpkin pie filling. While it may be tempting to grab the can of pie filling, don't use that option in this recipe.
The difference between canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie filling is slight, but important. While canned pumpkin consists of plain pumpkin with no other added ingredients, pumpkin pie filling is made with sugar and spices. To prepare your own pumpkin pie bites, you should purchase plain pumpkin and add your own sugar and spices to create the filling for the recipe.
How Do You Store Pumpkin Pie Bites?
You can store your mini pumpkin bites in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. Transfer the leftover pastries to an airtight container and keep them in the fridge for up to four days.

Can You Bake Pumpkin Pie Bites in the Oven?
Using your air fryer is a quick and easy way to prepare these delicious fall treats. But if you don't have an air fryer, try baking them in your oven instead.
After rolling out the dough, adding the filling, and securing the biscuit bombs, place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake the pumpkin bombs for around 15 minutes at 375 degrees, until the crust is golden brown.

- Add a glaze on top. To add even more sweetness, make a simple glaze by whisking together one tablespoon of milk with one cup of powdered sugar. Drizzle the glaze over the top of the bombs before serving.
- Use crescent roll dough. Don't have any biscuit dough on hand? You can also make this recipe with crescent roll dough. Cut the dough into squares and add the filling, then follow the instructions in the recipe for baking them in the air fryer.
