What is orange fluff?

Orange fluff is a Jell-O salad that has been around, surprisingly, since the 1950s. It often includes orange jello, whipped cream and cottage cheese. It’s popularly served during the summer at BBQs, church gatherings, potlucks, etc. There are many different variations for it, but this one is my particular favorite. This dish only takes about 5 minutes to prepare.

Step 2: Fold in the remainder of the ingredients

Add the cottage cheese, mini marshmallows, shredded coconut and drained Mandarin orange slices to the bowl with the jello and Cool Whip. Gently fold all the ingredients together. This can be served immediately. However, I like to make it an hour a ahead of time, so the flavors have time to marry in the bowl.
