Fall Fitness with Runtastic!

Where did October go? I have had some much needed down time over the past month from running and cycling. However, I made it a goal to incorporate more strength training into my routine. I have some basic gym equipment at home, but have such a hard time motivating myself to do anything with it! A few weeks ago, I discovered the Runtastic You Tube Channel.  It has made such a difference for me! The workouts are quick, easy, and fun to do. I actually look forward to doing strength training for the first time ever. My favorite thing about the Runtastic Channel is that the workouts are short. Last Tuesday I had a hectic day with work and getting my kids to their various activities. At the end of the day, I felt so exhausted and stressed, but instead of reaching for a bowl of ice cream, I put on Runtastic and did a short  6 minute workout before going to bed. Here is the one I did:

If you want to see me actually doing it, you can check it out on my Instagram Page by clicking <here>.

I have become a big fan of these workouts, so I was thrilled when my Sweat Pink pals asked me to participate in and help host a 5 Day Instagram Challenge with the workouts from the Runtastic Channel. The Challenge starts today and will run through November 5th. The workouts all take less than 10 minutes, here they are:

Day 1: Upper Body & Booty
Day 2: ABSolutely Amazing 4-Minute Abs
Day 3: 7-Minute HIIT for Legs
Day 4: Fall Workout with a Pumpkin
Day 5: 6-Minute No-Gym Total Body Workout

One more fun thing! I am giving away 4 One Year Premium Memberships to the Premium Runtastic Fitness App on my blog if you enter below. You can also hop over to my Instagram Page where I am giving away a membership a day November 1st - 5th. I hope you enjoy this wonderful, motivational You Tube Channel as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
