AfterShokz Trekz Titanium Headphones Review

Do you enjoy listening to music while keeping fit? I love having tunes in the background while I am running or even cleaning the house. However, I also like to hear what is going on around me for safety when I am running. When I am at home, I like to have an ear available to hear my kids. So, I was delighted when I was given the chance to try out the AfterShokz Trekz Titanium Headphones! These bluetooth headphones are unique as they sit in front of your ears not in them for maximum awareness.  

How do they work?

First, they look and fit different than regular headphones, as they sit on your cheek bones which eliminates the discomfort of having something jammed in your ear. They work via bone conduction technology. The sound travels through your cheek bones via mini vibrations that bypass your eardrums, which allows your ears to be completely open while still hearing music...Very Cool!!

 What are my thoughts?

I LOVE them!!! This is no exaggeration!! I have had a love-hate relationship with my earbuds for years, as they are uncomfortable & bounce out of my ears while running or if it is windy. I have tried a number of different styles, but could never find any that were comfortable and I hated getting tangled up in the wires.  The  AfterShokz Trekz Titanium Headphones were the perfect solution for my troubles! I love the fit, although it took me a brief time to get used to them. I would recommend wearing them around your house first before going for  a run to get comfortable. I also love that they work via bluetooth...No More Wires to get wrapped up in while running is heavenly!
