Winter is the perfect time to sit down, relax, and hibernate at home with the ones we love. If you are considering having the perfect relaxing day this winter we want to share with you some of the ways you can make it happen.

Take a hot bath
There is nothing better on a cold winter night than taking a hot bath with a bath bomb and lots of bubbles. When the day is cold and dreary, set up the perfect relaxation zone in your bathroom for an hour. Run a steamy bath, set up your laptop with TV, add some candles and pour yourself a glass of wine. There is nothing better than having a relaxing soak in the winter time and enjoying thinking about absolutely nothing at all.
Stretch it out

Enjoy a skincare routine
There is nothing better than a good, solid daily skincare routine. However, when you have extra time, it is nice to go all out. Here are a few steps you can take:

However, many people find cooking at home very relaxing. There are some amazing dishes you can make at home such as a rich tomato pasta with grilled halloumi and roasted vegetables or my favorite comfort food Mac and Cheese with Gouda Casserole.
Make some mulled wine
Mulled wine is the ultimate warming winter drink and you can enjoy some mulled wine at home within 20 minutes with this simple recipe:
- 750ml red wine
- 250ml orange juice
- 2 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 tbsp sugar
In a pan, add all of these ingredients and bring to a boil before simmering for 20 minutes. Serve warm for an amazing spiced wine.
Wrap up and get cozy
Now is the best time of the year where you can wrap up in your festive pajamas, get under a blanket and watch your favorite film with a sweet treat or two.
