If you enjoy baking cookies, you may already have most of the ingredients used in this recipe in your pantry. Here is what you will need to make the M & M cookies with peanut butter and cinnamon:
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature or softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup peanut butter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups M & M's ( I used Holiday Blend for these)
- Chocolate chips, sprinkles, mini marshmallows (optional)

How do I make the Peanut Butter Cinnamon Cookies?
These simple, yet decadent tasting Cookies are easy to prepare in just a few simple steps. Here is what you will need to do to make the cinnamon peanut butter cookies.
Step 1: Preheat oven and combine wet ingredients.
Start off by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper. Then, in a medium bowl or stand mixer, mix together on medium speed butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add in eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter. Mix until combined and smooth.

Step 2: Add in dry ingredients
In a medium bowl: add flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Whisk together until well combined. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients slowly. Then, fold in 1 ½ cups M & M's.
Step 3: Prepare cookies for baking
Using a 1 inch cookie scoop, scoop up a heaping amount of batter and roll into a ball. Place onto the prepared cookie sheet, spacing 2 inches apart from each cookie. Slightly flatten. Then, press two or three M&M's onto the top of the cookies. Optional:add 
Step 4: Bake cookies, serve & enjoy!
Bake cookies on center rack in oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they turn slightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Once cookies have cooled, serve and enjoy!

Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter room temperature or softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs room temperature
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup peanut butter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 16 ounces Mini M&M’s
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl or stand mixer, mix together on medium speed butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add in eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter. Mix until combined and smooth.
- Next, add in flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir until all flour is combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop the batter onto the prepared cookie sheet, leaving 2 inches between each cookie.
- Sprinkle & press M&M’s on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or unil slightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
