How Do I Make a Starbucks Crème Brulee Latte?

With the help of a stovetop espresso pot, you can prepare your own caramel latte at home in just a few minutes! To make this easy recipe, just follow these three quick steps:

Step One: Brew the Espresso

Using a moka pot (stovetop espresso pot), add water and espresso to the pot and brew the espresso according to the pot’s instructions.

Step Two: Mix the Latte

Add one to two tablespoons of caramel sauce to the bottom of your mug. Pour the espresso over the top of the sauce and stir to combine the two ingredients. Pour one cup of milk and stir to mix.

Step Three: Garnish Your Coffee

Once your latte is prepared, add some garnish to the top of the cup. Start by cutting one stroopwafel in half and dice the other half the cookie. Top the latte with whipped cream and sprinkle the diced cookie over the top. Drizzle the whipped cream with caramel sauce, then stick the other half of the cookie into the coffee for dipping.

Crème Brulee Latte Tips & Tricks

With just four ingredients and three simple steps, this delicious latte recipe is a cinch to make. Use these recipe tips and tricks to ensure your coffee tastes just like you got it at Starbucks.

  • Try instant espresso. If you don’t have your own espresso maker at home, you can still enjoy this easy recipe! All you need is some instant espresso powder. Follow the instructions on the packaging for preparing your espresso powder, then mix the finished coffee with the caramel sauce and milk according to the recipe instructions.
  • Use strong coffee. Another easy option for making this simple latte recipe without an espresso maker is to use strong coffee instead. Use your favorite coffee maker or single brew machine to prepare a strong cute of coffee. Then, follow the instructions for preparing the latte recipe.
  • Make your own whipped cream. Don’t have whipped cream at home? You can easily make your own by whipping together ½ cup of heavy cream with ½ tablespoon sugar until the cream is thick and soft peaks form. Pipe or spoon the cream on the top of your latte and enjoy.
  • Froth your milk. Give your latte a coffeehouse look and taste with the help of a milk frother. Before pouring your milk into your coffee, use the milk frother to foam the milk, then pour it over the hot espresso.
  • Try it vegan. Since this latte recipe is made with milk, it’s not vegan. But you can easily turn it into a vegan treat by substituting the cow’s milk with your favorite plant-based milk. Coconut milk is a great option for adding a thick, creamy texture to your drink!
  • Make it an iced crème brulee latte. Instead of enjoying your latte hot, you can easily turn this into an iced coffee drink. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour the hot espresso over the ice. Add the caramel sauce and milk and stir to combine all the ingredients. Add more ice, if needed, then enjoy.
