How do I make the Pumpkin Chocolate Shake?
This takes just a few minutes to make. All you need to have on hand is a blender and measuring cups and spoons for the milkshake.
Step 1: Make the Chocolate Sauce
While this step is optional, it is a nice touch and adds a bit of decadence to this easy recipe. Combine the chocolate chips and the coconut oil in a small bowl and microwave in 15 second intervals until melted. If you do not have a microwave, this can be done in a small sauce pan, over low heat. You will just need to stir continuously until melted. Then, drizzle the sauce into glasses and/or reserve some for the topping. Set aside while you blend the milkshake.

Step 2: Blend the Milkshake Ingredients Together
For the milkshake, place the frozen banana, milk, pumpkin puree, cacao powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sea salt in a blender. Blend at full-speed for 20 seconds (or more) until smooth and frothy. Pour into glasses and top with whipped topping, chocolate sauce and sea salt, if desired.
