Turn the Instant Pot on to the sauté setting.
When the pot is hot, add in the ground meat, onion, chives, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
Sauté until the meat has browned.
Add in the butter and stir until it melts.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Finally, add in remaining ingredients: chicken broth, egg noodles and diced tomatoes. Mix them all together to ensure they are combined. Turn off sauté mode.
Place the lid on the instant pot and close the sealing valve. Set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 8 minutes.
When the cook time is up, allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes. Then, do a quick release by opening the sealing valve and releasing the remaining pressure.
Stir together. Serve and enjoy!
