Homemade Raspberry Lime Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raspberry infused water such as Schweppes
  • ½ cup margarita mix
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 oz tequila
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glass

Instructions

  • Add raspberry soda, margarita mix, lime juice, ice cubes, raspberries and tequila to a blender.
  • Blend on medium-high speed until well combined and smooth.
  • Pour equal amounts into 2 rimmed margarita (or drink) glasses.
  • Garnish with fresh lime wedges and mint leaves if desired.
  • To rim the glasses:
  • Fill a small bowl with sugar or salt. Use a slice of lime to wet the rim of the glasses. Dip the glass upside down into the sugar or salt until the entire edge of the glass is rimmed.
