Blueberry Water with Basil

Water infused with fruit and herbs has become a popular way for people to enjoy drinking their 8 glasses of water a day! This simple blueberry water with basil recipe is a delicious way to add some light flavor to your beverage while also getting the health benefits of the berries and herbs.

  • Cup Blueberries
  • 2 Sprigs Basil leaves torn off stem
  • 24 Ounces Water

Instructions

  • Rinse the blueberries in a colander and add them to a 32 ounce Mason jar or pitcher.
  • Muddle the blueberries by gently pressing them up against the side of the container with a muddler or wooden spoon.
  • Add in 24 ounces of fresh, filtered water.
  • Stir in fresh basil leaves.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • When ready, pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
