Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit .
Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit the air fryer basket.
On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent dough and press into an even rectangle.
Cut each sheet of crescent dough into 4 equal rectangles.
In a medium bowl, stir together the pepperoni, cheese, and pizza sauce.
Place about ¼ cup of the mixture on each piece of crescent dough towards one end.
Fold the crescent dough over the mixture and press to seal the edges. Crimp with a fork.
Place the pockets into the air fryer basket, leaving space between for the crescent dough to puff. Brush with melted butter. (This will need to be done in batches, depending on size of air fryer)
Cook in the air fryer for 7 to 9 minutes, flipping halfway or until golden.
