  • 1 8- ounce block of pepper jack cheese
  • 2 cups Flamin’ Hot Cheetos crushed
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Cut the pepper jack cheese into 18 cubes.
  • Place the Cheetos in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin, then transfer them to a shallow bowl.
  • Whisk together the flour, salt, and pepper in a separate shallow bowl.
  • In a third bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and hot sauce.
  • Dip each cheese cube in the egg mixture, then in the flour mixture, then back in the egg mixture, and finally in the Cheetos crumbs.
  • Transfer the coated cheese cubes to a plate or pan and freeze for at least one hour.
  • When ready to cook, preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees. Place the frozen cheese cubes in an even layer in the basket of the air fryer and coat with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes. When the cheese begins to melt, the cheese cubes are finished cooking.
  • Remove from air fryer and enjoy!
