Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400° Fahrenheit for five minutes.
  • Rinse and drain chickpeas in a colander. Then, spread the garbanzo beans on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Pat dry.
  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  • Spread the chickpeas evenly in a single layer in your air fryer.
  • Air fry the chickpeas for 30 minutes in the air fryer at 400° Fahrenheit or until golden brown and toasted to your preference. Shake the air fryer basket every 10 minutes during cook time.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the buttermilk powder, parsley, garlic, onion, dill weed, onion flakes, chives, salt and pepper.
  • When the chickpeas are done cooking, remove from air fryer basket and place them in a large bowl.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the chickpeas and toss to coat.
  • Pour the homemade ranch seasoning into bowl with chickpeas and toss to coat all the chickpeas.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Oven Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper or nonstick foil.
  • Pour chickpeas into a colander and rinse with water. Then, spread chickpeas onto paper towels and pat dry.
  • Place chickpeas in a medium bowl and toss with olive oil. Place in a single layer on the prepared cookie sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake until crisp, about 40 minutes, stirring once halfway through.Remove from the oven.Cool on baking sheet. Prepare the Ranch seasoning.
  • Then, pour into bowl and toss with teaspoons of olive oil. Add Ranch seasoning and toss to coat all chickpeas.Serve and enjoy!
