Preheat air fryer to 400° Fahrenheit for five minutes.
Rinse and drain chickpeas in a colander. Then, spread the garbanzo beans on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Pat dry.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
Spread the chickpeas evenly in a single layer in your air fryer.
Air fry the chickpeas for 30 minutes in the air fryer at 400° Fahrenheit or until golden brown and toasted to your preference. Shake the air fryer basket every 10 minutes during cook time.
In a large bowl, mix together the buttermilk powder, parsley, garlic, onion, dill weed, onion flakes, chives, salt and pepper.
When the chickpeas are done cooking, remove from air fryer basket and place them in a large bowl.
Drizzle the olive oil over the chickpeas and toss to coat.
Pour the homemade ranch seasoning into bowl with chickpeas and toss to coat all the chickpeas.
