A Keto based lifestyle has become very popular in recent years. It seems like every day I encounter someone on the high fat, low carb program. Many people have had great success in reaching their goals by following the plan. However, some find it difficult to adhere to. So, I am sharing these Four Tips to Stick to a Keto Lifestyle.

Plan Your Meals

Meal planning at the beginning of the week is key to keto living success! I find it very helpful to sit down on Sunday and look at my schedule to determine how much time is available for cooking dinner. It is also a great time management tool to go to the store and get the ingredients for each meal in one trip.

Meal Prep

Once you have your weeknight dinner plan set, meal prep can make cooking your keto based meals so much easier. I take a block of time on Sunday and prep whatever I can for the weeknight meals. Chopping up fresh, low carb veggies and storing them in containers, so they are ready to go is one of my favorite time saving tips!

Make Extras

When making your homemade keto meals, double it up! The left overs can be placed in single serving containers for lunch or a meal when you are too busy to cook. This helps to ensure there is always a keto friendly meal available.

Keep Snacks on Hand

One thing I have found very helpful is to carry along my own low carb snacks. As much as I try to eat regularly, there are times I find myself not having time to stop for lunch or running out the door without breakfast.   4. Loving all these tips! Believe meal prepping is a huge factor in maintaining a keto diet! We do so much better on it when we meal prep! I will be looking for these cookies :)
