Refreshing Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie

Sweet strawberries and refreshing watermelon combined with orange juice make a winning combination for a delicious fruit smoothie! This watermelon strawberry smoothie is easy to create in just a few minutes. It makes a great breakfast on the go and it is a perfect post-workout treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups watermelon cubed
  • 1 cup strawberries stems and leaves removed
  • cup orange juice
  • fresh mint for garnish, if desired

Instructions

  • Prepare the strawberries by rinsing first. Then, remove the leaves and stems from the strawberries.
  • For the watermelon, cut into slices, then cut off the rind. Remove seeds from watermelon and cut it up into large cubes.
  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add a cup of ice and blend again until smoothie thickens.
  • Pour into your favorite glass, garnish with fresh mint (if desired) and enjoy!
