Instant Pot Oatmeal with Banana Split Topping

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Steel Cut Oats
  • ¼ cup Honey

  • Add vanilla almond milk, steel cut oats and honey to Instant Pot inner pot.
  • Set manual pressure to 4 minutes.
  • After pressure cooking time has elapsed, do a quick release, stir and dish up into bowls.
  • Top with Nutella, strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. and enjoy!

Pot in Pot Method (because oatmeal tends to give a "burn" notice, this is a great method to try!)

  • Place all ingredients in a bowl or pot that will fit inside the electric pressure cooker liner and stir well.
  • Place trivet in the liner and pour the minimum required amount of water (as noted by the manufacturer into the bottom of the pressure cooker liner).
  • Put the bowl or pot containing the oatmeal mixture on the trivet, cover and turn the valve to sealing.
  • Set pressure cooker to manual for 6 minutes. After cooking cycle is complete, allow to naturally release for 10 minutes before releasing the remaining pressure
  • Carefully remove the bowl or pot from the pressure cooker liner. Stir oatmeal well and serve.
