  • ½ cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1 medium ripe banana peeled
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¾ cup unsweetened whole milk or plant-based milk of choice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ½ teaspoon chopped chocolate for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the spinach leaves, banana, cottage cheese, unsweetened cocoa powder, peanut butter, chia seeds, honey, vanilla, and milk to a blender and process until smooth.
  • Add the ice cubes and pulse a couple times to break them up, and then process until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass, top with the chocolate, and serve immediately.
