  • 4 Cups Ice
  • 2 Cups Watermelon chopped
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Cup Sugar
  • Small Watermelon Wedges optional garnish
  • Mint Sprigs optional garnish

Instructions

  • Add the ice, chopped watermelon, sugar, and water to a blender and let blend for 2 minutes or until there are no more chunks of ice.
  • Pour into glasses and top with a mini wedge of watermelon and a mint sprig, if you feel like it, and enjoy!

Notes

• Want a stronger flavor? Add more watermelon.
• You can use a sugar alternative if you like, to make this drink even healthier. However, the sugar is definitely needed in order to ensure the ice doesn’t stick together. The sugar helps the ice remain smooth. So, if you’re going for a substitute, try monk fruit sweetener, or something similar.
• You may need to help your blender along when it’s first trying to blend everything.
• This beverage does not keep, so don’t try to make it ahead of time and freeze as it will turn into a disaster. Drink right away for best results.
