Crescent Roll Pizza Pockets

Finding quick and easy ideas for dinner can be so difficult – especially if you have picky eaters at home. But one dinner idea is sure to be a hit every time – pizza. Instead of serving traditional pizza for supper tonight, why not change things up? These easy crescent roll pizza pockets have all the flavor of a delicious pizza without all the hard work.

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • ΒΌ cup pizza sauce
  • 8 slices pepperoni cut into quarters
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  • Spread one tablespoon of pizza sauce over the center of four triangles.
  • Top with shredded cheese and pepperoni.
  • To make the pizza pockets, pick up one of the remaining crescent rolls and slightly stretch out the sides. Place the dough on top of one of the slices filled with toppings. Press the edges together and place on a greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and brush each slice with melted butter. Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese over the top of each slice before serving.
