  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana sliced
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • ½ cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut cream optional, makes the coconut flavor stand out more
  • unsweetened shredded coconut optional, for topping
  • fresh blueberries optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Place the frozen blueberries, frozen banana slices, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, water, hemp hearts, and coconut cream to the blender. ***For a lighter smoothie recipe, the coconut cream can be left out.
  • Place the lid on the blender and blend until all the ingredients are pulverized and well combined. If the smoothie is too thick, add more water and continue blending until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Pour the blended smoothie into a glass and top with fresh blueberries and shredded coconut if desired.
