Mix the yeast with warm water in a large bowl and stir. Allow the yeast to rest for around five minutes until it begins to bubble. Then add the sugar, flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until the dough ingredients are fully incorporated.
Using the dough hook on your stand mixer, knead the dough for around five minutes on medium speed. You can also use your hands to knead the dough by transferring it to a lightly floured surface and working it for around 10 minutes.
After kneading your dough, transfer it to a lightly oiled bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and rest in a warm place for around one hour until the dough has doubled.
Once the dough doubles, please remove it from the bowl and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Separate the dough into four sections and roll each piece into a flat crust with a rolling pin until it’s eight inches in diameter.
Dust the air fryer pan with cornmeal and transfer one pizza crust into the pan. Lightly press the crust down into the bottom of the pan. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit, then place the dough in and cook for four minutes.
After four minutes, remove the crust from the air fryer and top it with pizza sauce, shredded cheese, pineapple, ham, and an additional layer of cheese. Return the basket to the air fryer and continue cooking for 6 minutes.
Repeat steps five and six with the remaining three pizza crusts.
Serve pizza warm and enjoy!
