Ingredients

Instructions

  • Combine the orange juice, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, mustard, thyme, cinnamon, and cloves.
  • Optional - Cut lines diagonally over the top of the ham, then cut lines the opposite direction across the other lines, forming diamond shape cuts.
  • Use a large piece of tinfoil and place the ham in the middle. Fold up the sides well and roll down the edges. *See tips for other options.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the ham. (You can reserve some glaze and add more glaze halfway through the frying time.)
  • Gently lift the tinfoil with the ham into the air fryer basket.
  • Set the air fryer to 375° and fry for 30 minutes. Check the inside of the ham with a meat thermometer. Internal temperature should be 160° . ***Cooking time will vary depending on size of ham.
  • Remove and plate. Decorate with sliced oranges and herbs.

Notes

Tips:
Make sure your ham will fit into the air fryer basket. If your ham is too large, cut in half and cook each half separately.
For beautiful plating, use some blood oranges with regular oranges and fresh herbs.
You can cut crosswise over the ham so the sauce will get into the ham while it cooks. Or just glaze the outside of the ham.
It is important that the tinfoil not touch the heating elements in the air fryer. If your ham is small enough, I recommend wrapping the ham in the tinfoil for the first 15 minutes of cooking time. Then remove the tinfoil from the top of the ham and add a little more glaze before continuing frying.
How long to cook ham in an Air Fryer: 2 pounds, 25-30 minutes; 3 pounds, 35-40 minutes; 4 pounds, 40-45 minutes; 5 pounds, 45-50 minutes
