Add some pizzazz to your cookouts with these juicy Jalapeno Turkey Burgers! They are made with ground turkey, seasoned beautifully, and full of delicious pickled jalapenos. Serve these at a backyard barbecue to friends and family or make them on a busy weeknight and keep them all to yourself. They are insanely good and will quickly take the place of traditional burgers!
When the air starts to turn warm, even the slightest, it puts me in the mood for some scrumptious homemade burgers. Granted, we eat burgers all year round, but there is just something great about eating burgers when the weather is nice to make you feel good. We do a fair amount of barbecuing, and I love to entertain.
The best thing about these Jalapeno Turkey Burgers is that they can be made in a skillet on your stovetop, or you can cook them on the grill. We prefer the flavors that the grill incorporates, but a skillet is also very enjoyable as well. The fact that they are so versatile means you can literally eat them for any occasion and any season.
The star of the show is for sure the pickled jalapenos. You can pick a variety that you love, and you can’t go wrong. Whether you want them to be super spicy or more on the mild side, they are going to be the perfect complement to the burgers.

How Do I Make Jalapeno Turkey Burgers?
Eating burgers never grows old in my eyes. But sometimes I want something more than a traditional burger. That’s why these Jalapeno Turkey Burgers are such a hit. Check out the easy 2 steps below:
STEP 1: HEAT THE GRILL AND PREPARE THE PATTIES
Preheat grill. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with dill, onion powder, garlic salt, parsley, and jalapenos. Mix well. Form patties with your hands and set aside. (I was able to make 4 large patties).
STEP 2: COOK THE BURGERS AND ADD YOUR FAVORITE TOPPINGS
Cook burgers on the grill for 12-15 minutes, turning them halfway. Remove from the grill and let cool. Place burgers on your preferred buns, top with a drizzle of your favorite Ranch dressing, more jalapenos, and any additional toppings you prefer.
CAN I USE DIFFERENT MEAT FOR THESE JALAPENO BURGERS?
Certainly! We love the flavors that ground turkey provides, plus it’s a healthier option. However, you can absolutely try out a variety of meats if you want. Use a combination of multiple types of meat or stick with just one. Here are a few ideas to try:
Ground Beef: Opting for a more classic protein like ground beef is always a great option. It’s going to taste like what you are accustomed to, and the texture will be great too. Check out my Cheesy Beef and Noodle Casserole if you love ground beef!
Ground Chicken: I know of a lot of people who love ground chicken for their burgers. I haven’t tried it myself, but I hear that it’s fantastic. You may need to adjust the cooking time, so it’s properly done. You should cook the burgers until they reach 160 degrees, then let them rest and they will finish heating up to 165 degrees. While you are at it, you should try my Chicken Salad Wraps, too; they are irresistible.
WHAT SHOULD I SERVE WITH JALAPENO TURKEY BURGERS?
Jalapeno Turkey Burgers are just like any other burger and go fabulous will all the side dishes you are accustomed too. Here are some of our favorite ideas for you to try:
Salads: Choose just about any kind of salad you can think of. Lettuce salads, bean salads, and even pasta salads are the perfect pair with these burgers. Try out my Rainbow Three Bean Salad or Cucumber Strawberry Salad.
Veggies: Whether you serve fresh, crisp veggies or you want more of a cooked dish, they are wonderful with burgers. We usually set out fresh broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, and bell peppers. We also love this Roasted Vegetable Platter too.
Fruit: Don’t forget the sweet stuff! It’s a must-have when hosting a party or get-together. We enjoy these Fruit Kabobs with Cream Cheese Dip so much. Or you could set out watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, berries, or other fruits for people to nibble on. If the weather is super hot, break out some of these Real Fruit Rainbow Popsicles.
