Happy Sunday, I hope you have had a great week and are enjoying your weekend! We had a giant snow storm here this week and got almost 2 feet of snow in one day. I love the snow, I do, but I am ready for Spring. One good thing about the fresh snow is that I got to enjoy some skiing yesterday with family. My legs were sore from the start as I had done a long trainer ride on my bike Friday, 2 hours and 45 minutes, followed by a 15 minute run! After that monster workout, I was so hungry, but I am really trying to focus on my nutrition and fueling my body properly for this round of Ironman training. So, that brings me to this week’s recipe! I made a Cinnamon Banana Apple Smoothie Bowl and added 1 scoop of Quest Cinnamon Crunch Protein Powder to it. It was so delicious and filling, so I wanted to share this quick and easy recipe here.
Yields 1 Serving
This smoothie bowl gets an extra punch of protein thanks to a scoop of protein powder. It will only take you a few minutes to put together but you'll have energy all day long!
- 1 Cup Vanilla Yogurt
- 1 Packet Quest Cinnamon Crunch Protein Powder
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 Cup of Apple, peeled & diced
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Granola
- Apple Slices
- Banana Slices
- 1/4 tsp Honey
- Dash of Cinnamon
- Blend Vanilla Yogurt, Quest Cinnamon Crunch Protein Powder, Banana, Almond Milk, Apple, and Honey in blender and pour into a bowl.
